Don and I are originally from Cleveland, Ohio. We moved to Naples, Florida in 1973.

I bought Charlie and Mary Fillebrown's camp in 1989 with a handshake and a small deposit on their front porch up by the apple orchards. We have owned the camp for 33 years. I was 37, Don 40. Yes, we are those crazy people who had three rescued Golden Retrievers on the dock! Great fun!

In 2013 we sold our home in Naples (dogless!) and were "nomads" in the winters, staying at our cabin summer and fall. We traveled in our old car to all four corners of the beautiful USA. In 2016 we chose Amelia Island, Florida, for our winter home — we can see Georgia from here! We continue to do summer and fall on Keoka Lake with our family of nine.

Over the years I have taken pictures of many sunsets, with a collection of the best to share: "The Moods of Keoka." Our cabin sits right on the edge of Keoka with westerly views. Can't get much better than that! It's definitely NOT The pits!
