My grandmother, Dorothy Stockwell, came to Maine from Pennsylvania in 1925 for a summer vacation. She found out about Waterford from relatives and stayed in the Tcozy Cottage, a white farm house on Johnson Road.
Our place on Dorothy Way, named after my mother, is called "Aloha" which means "my love to you, Hawaiian style."
Four generations of my family have been in Waterford. We love the 4th of July Parade, tennis, and shuffleboard. I was also a camp counselor, for five summerss, at Camp Bendito in Harrison.
